Pierce County Responds to Changes to the National Flood Insurance Program

Recent federal flood protection changes now require Pierce County to expand the project review requirements in order to demonstrate that no harm to listed species, or their associated habitat, will result from the proposal.

Industry Notice: 2013 Base Plan Updates Required

PALS has not required a complete Base Plan update since 2003 instead allowing for addendums to the base plans for code changes. Due to confusion associated with multiple addendums it is time to bring all Base Plans into compliance under the new IBC code.
