Companionship Harvest Party

Celebrate the beginning of the fall season at the Companionship Harvest Party on Saturday, Oct. 3 from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Frontier Park in Graham.

Activities include pumpkin bowling, bean bag toss, candy walk, face painting, plus a pumpkin-painting station. Fee is $8 per person pre-registered by October 2. Visit our website to register or more information.

Tiny Tots

Tiny Tots Playground

With fall weather in full swing, kids ages 5 and under will have fun with oodles of toys and space in a warm and safe environment at the Tiny Tots indoor playground.

Come by on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9:30-11 a.m. or Thursday afternoons from 2-3:30 p.m. in the Lakewood Community Center. $2 drop-in fee per child. Parents must accompany children. Please visit the website for details.

Woof Woof Walk

Woof Woof Walk

This family-oriented event brings together people and their pets for a morning of walking and fun on Saturday, Oct. 24 at Spanaway Park.

The main event is a 1.5 mile and 3 mile walk, starting at 9 a.m.  Pre-registration fee is only $15 for the first dog and $5 for the second. On-site registration is $20. Visit our website to register or more information.

Woofers Grooming and Goodies opened in July of 2008 and has expanded the facility twice since opening. The store is located on Pacific Avenue in Spanaway.

Owner Lyn Borcherding has been a sponsor of Woof Woof Walk since it started 8 years ago. Woofers is home to the World's Longest Biscuit Buffet. The company donates 10% of all buffet sales to local animal shelters. Lyn said she is pleased to be a part of the Woof Woof Walk. Rain or shine, there’s always a great turn out, and the event is lots of fun!

Bricks 4 Kidz

Bricks 4 Kidz - Kids Night Out

On Friday, Oct. 16 send your kids to the Bricks 4 Kidz Night Out while you have an evening to yourself. Open to children ages 5-13, it is a night filled with motorized model building with LEGO Bricks.

The event begins at 6 p.m. and runs until 9:00 p.m. at Frontier Park, in Graham. Fees are $25 for the 1st child, $15 for the 2nd child and $5 for each additional child. Space is limited and pre-registration is required. Register online or call (253) 798-4177.

Superhero Party!

Superhero Adventure Party!

Action, adventure and fun waits youth of all ages at this party. Come dressed as your favorite superhero or wear a black t-shirt to the Superhero Adventure Party on Saturday, Oct. 24 from 4-6 p.m. at the Lakewood Community Center.

Kids will have fun unleashing their own “special powers” with Superhero games and activities plus receive hero souvenirs, power packed punch and snacks! Kids ages 5 and under must be supervised by an adult.  Participants must pre-register by Oct. 21. The cost is $15 per youth. Register today.

Halloween Monster Skate

Skate if you dare at Sprinker Recreation Center’s Halloween Monster Skate on Saturday Oct. 31 from 7:45-9:45 p.m. Kids and adults will skate to spooky tunes and receive free glow sticks. Don’t forget to  skate in costume for a chance to win prizes.
