Passed Legislation:  Ordinances and Resolution Search

Pierce County Ordinances and Resolutions are scanned after the document is passed by council and the signature process is complete, approx. four weeks. Pierce County uses software and hardware to read the text of the documents and create a searchable word index. The automated process is quick and highly accurate, but it may misread one out of every 100 words in a document.
