Career Highlights

• Judge Larkin practiced law in Pierce County from 1973 - 1986. During this time he represented clients at the trial and appellate court levels and tried both civil and criminal cases in the state and federal courts.
• In 1986, he was elected to the Pierce County District Court where he served as a judge until his election to the Superior Court in 1996.

• Judge Larkin serves as the Presiding Judge of the Pierce County Juvenile Court at Remann Hall.
• He is chair of the Juvenile Detention Alternative committee.
• He was Pierce County Superior Court Presiding Judge in 2007 and 2008.

• From 1973 - 2001, Judge Larkin coached boys and girls youth basketball.
• He has served on elementary and high school boards.
