Chambers Creek Regional Park

Park ClosuresWhat's Happening:

Pierce County Parks and Recreation has reopened Chambers Creek Regional Park in phases after hosting the 2015 U.S. Open at Chambers Bay Golf Course.

The Central and North Meadow grass areas will remain closed into 2016.  This will allow the newly planted grass a sufficient amount of time to mature properly.

All other areas of the park are open including the Grandview and Soundview Trails, parking lots and Playground By the Sound.  We thank you for your continued patience as we restore the park to it's original state.

Enjoying the Park

This 930-acre site includes over two miles of saltwater shoreline, two and a half miles of urban creek and canyon and breathtaking mountain and Puget Sound views. Enjoy a walk on the beach and public trails, play golf or dine at Chambers Bay, relax at Central or North Meadow or see the award-winning Environmental Services Building.

Chambers Creek Regional Park is located within the City of University Place, immediately north of the Town of Steilacoom. The park is approximately 20 minutes from Interstate 5.
