Construction Temporarily Closes Road & Boat Ramp Sept. 15-Oct. 24

The boat launch at Spanaway Park is closed Sept. 15-Oct. 24 as crews start the second phase of the stormwater retrofit project. The public can access the park from the North entrance off Military Road and park in Parking Lot A only.  The playground and walking trails will be available during park hours throughout the construction.

Closing the ramp and limiting access on Bresemann Boulevard is for the safety of the public and the construction crew. The project involves retrofitting the parking area near the boat house and parking areas along Bresemann Boulevard with permeable pavement. The multi-year retrofit project is intended to disconnect the park’s stormwater system from the lake.
