Sewer Service Rate Increase
On November 12, 2013 the Pierce County Council approved a Sewer Utility rate increase for the next two years, effective January 1, 2014 and January 2, 2015. By collecting the additional revenue now, the Utility will have the cash necessary to finance preservation and system improvements at more favorable bond terms - maintaining lower rates in the long term. For more information on the rate increases, check out the Rate Increase Fact Sheet.
