About the Project
Significant flooding and channel migration events that impacted the Neadham Road community have necessitated improvements to flood and channel migration infrastructure in the area. This construction is taking place in several phases along with a program to acquire properties from willing sellers in the area.

2011-2012 Construction of 1,000 feet of setback levee to protect Neadham Road from channel migration

2014 Construction of a groundwater channel to mitigate for fish habitat impacts caused by emergency repairs

2015 Construction of in-stream engineered log jams to protect Neadham Road from channel migration

Neadham Road property acquisition project

Benefits include:

  • Provide additional channel migration protection of Neadham Road properties
