The Pierce County Prosecutor's Office is committed to protecting the community through the vigorous and professional prosecution of those who violate the law.

The Prosecutor's Office is staffed by specially trained Deputy Prosecutors and Victim Advocates dedicated to providing the highest level of service to the community.

The Prosecutor's Office is responsible for prosecuting all felonies in Pierce County and all misdemeanor crimes in unincorporated Pierce County and the incorporated cities of Edgewood and Dupont.

The Prosecutor's Office prosecutes more than 16,000 cases per year.

In 2012, Prosecutor Lindquist and his deputy prosecutors spoke to more than 60 citizen and law enforcement organizations to facilitate effective prosecutions and teach citizens how to avoid being victimized.
