Local Voters' Pamphlet Information
After you filed for office, you received an email with a link for submitting your biographical information, statement, photo, and contact information. (The email was from )

All Local Voters' Pamphlet information must be submitted online by May 23rd at 4:30 p.m.

Voters’ Pamphlet information for Congressional, Legislative, and State Judicial offices (Supreme Court and Court of Appeals) is filed with the State.

Pierce County will use the same information submitted to the Secretary of State for our printed pamphlet.


Precinct Committee Officers do not submit pamphlet information. This office is not included in the Local Voters' Pamphlet.)

Word limit - 100

Biographical information must be 100 words or less allocated between the four section headings listed below.

Section headings are not included in the word count. 
  • Elected Experience. (Judges use Legal/Judicial Experience)
  • Other Professional Experience.
  • Education.
  • Community Service.
Word limits
The word limit for candidate statements is as follows:

200 words - Up to four paragraphs allowed:

  • State Senator 
  • County offices
  • Judicial offices

100 words - Up to two paragraphs allowed:

  • State Representative

It is highly recommended that when filing you provide a campaign mailing address, telephone number, and website.

If you do not provide a campaign mailing address your voter registration address will be published online in the list of candidates who have filed.

Government offices may not be used for campaign contact information.
 Photos must be:
  • Digital (JPEG or
    TIFF format).
  • 300 dpi resolution.
  • No smaller than
    4 x 5 inches
    (1200 x 1500 pixels).
  • Submitted online.
  • Current (taken
    within 5 years).
  • Head and shoulders
 Photos may not:    
  • Include scenery,
    flags or other
    background settings.
  • Show judicial robes, law enforcement or 
    military uniforms.
  • Show clothing or insignia suggesting
    that you hold a
    public office.   
 Photo guidelines:
  • Color photos are
    preferred, black and white is acceptable.
  • Light colored,
    with a plain background.
