Adult Trips

Our popular trips for adults 50+ offer fun and casual day. Destinations vary from mountains, Puget Sound waters, and overnight destinations. We now offer hiking opportunities and an afternoon of gaming fun to keep you busy with old and new friends.

Trips include admission fees and transportation in a standard passenger van. We will depart from the Lakewood Community Center where you will meet your driver(s).

Bring money for food or pack your own unless otherwise noted. Overnight trips may be refunded up to 30 days prior to departure. For special requests please call 253-798-4141.

Deadline to register is one week prior to each trip.

Boeing Factory Tour

Thursday, January 14, 2016
8 a.m.- 6:30 p.m.  


One of Northwest’s favorite aviation attractions, the Future of Flight Aviation Center is where the Boeing Factory tours begins. The center offers the only publicly available opportunity to tour a commercial jet assembly plant in North America. Bring money for lunch as we head to the Diamond Knot Brewery. Price includes trip management, transportation, and admission.

Fort Lewis & McChord Air Museums

Don’t miss the opportunity to tour the recently renovated Army Museum which collects, preserves, and interprets the historical significance to the military units that have served here. Discover the Oregon Zoo
Wednesday, February 10
7:30 a.m. - 6 p.m 

Visit one of the most unique zoos in the Pacific Northwest. This 64-acre zoo located in Portland has five major exhibits areas: The Great Northwest, Fragile Forests, Asia, Pacific Shores, and Africa Safari. Over 1,955 individual animals are represented at the zoo. Lunch is on your own. The zoo offers a variety of lunch options. Price includes, trip management, transportation, parking, and admission.

Chocolate on the Beach Festival
Saturday, February 27

It’s always raining chocolate the last weekend in February.The small coastal town of Pacific Beach has been the home of the Chocolate on the Beach Festival since 2008. This fun, family festival offers something for every chocolate lover! There are chocolate vendors, artists, and crafters. Make sure to bring extra money for food and memorabilia. Price includes, trip management, transportation, and admission.

Zipline Canopy Tour - Camano Island
Thursday, March 17
7 a.m. - 6 p.m.  


This trip is like no other! On this three hour tour experience the canopy covered forest of Camano Island as you zip between trees riding on six different steel cables. While in the trees see exhilarating views and learn about the fascinating nature, wildlife, and rich history of the area. Make sure to bring money for lunch at a local restaurant. Price includes, trip management, transportation, and zipline tour.

Snoqualmie Falls & Casino
Thursday, March 31

Snoqualmie Falls is one of Washington State’s most popular scenic attractions. This two acre park with hiking trail, observation deck, gift shop, and the famous 270 foot waterfall all make up this Northwest wonder. After the falls we will head over to Snoqualmie Casino for a buffet lunch and spend time at one of the many slot machines or table games. Bring extra money. Skagit Valley/La Conner Tulip Time

It’s never a dull moment on this incredible springtime trip! Visit both Roozengaarde and Tulip Town; two gardens with their own design and style. Hulda Klager Lilac Gardens & Lilac Days

Experience the Hulda Klager Lilac Garden and Lilac Days in Woodland. Step back in time to discover the 1880’s Victorian farmhouse and country gardens. Each year in the spring, the garden hosts Lilac Days to celebrate the beauty of lilacs in bloom. Buy your favorite lilacs, visit the home, and shop for gifts. Bring money for a late lunch at the Oak Tree on the way home. Price includes, trip management, transportation, and garden entrance.

Neah Bay & Cape Flattery

6:30 a.m. - 8 p.m.  


Join us as we head into the heart of the Olympic Peninsula.Neah Bay is best known for its recreational sports fishing,eco-friendly tourism, fantastic deep-sea diving, and home to the Makah Cultural and Research Center’s world-class Makah Museum. We will stop for lunch at the Warmhouse Restaurant before heading to the museum. After we will venture to the most northwestern point in the continental U.S; Cape Flattery for amazing views of ocean, sea caves, Tatoosh Island’s lighthouse, and fantastic marine wildlife. Price includes trip management, transportation, museum, and tribal fees.

Maifest in Leavenworth
Saturday, May 14
7 a.m. - 8 p.m.  


Maiefest is the Bavarian town of Leavenworth’s traditional celebration of spring. Experience the parade, live entertainment, traditional German dancing; including the Maipole Dance. Stroll through the village of flowers, art in the park, and of course the all the shops and restaurants that line the streets of Leavenworth while tapping your toes to the oompa music!
