Committee Responsibilities

The Public Safety & Human Services Committee shall consider and make recommendations on matters including, but not limited to: Animals; Assigned Counsel; Budget, Supplemental Budgets, Budget Goals and Proviso Compliance; Children, Youth, and Their Families; Combined Communications Network; Community Services; Corrections; Courts; Criminal Justice; Emergency Preparedness; Firearms Safety Standards; Health; Human Services; Juvenile Justice and Services; Medical Examiner; Nuisance; Prevention Services; Probation; Prosecuting Attorney; Public Safety; Senior Services; Sheriff; South Sound 911; and Watercraft.
