Online Interview Process
District Court allows certain cases (antiharassment, name changes and small claim) to be initiated online. You may complete the interview process online but you must appear in person at the Operations Division (CCB) to pay for any required filing fees and receive a copy of your completed documents. If you do not appear within 72 hours, your petition will be deleted.
After you complete the interview process, you will be given a confirmation number. This number allows you to check on the status of your petition.
A clerk will review your responses and either accept or reject your document. A rejection may ask that you provide additional information or a rejection may mean the court does not have jurisdiction over your request.
You must appear at the Operations Division (CCB) within 72 hours. If you do not appear within 72 hours, your petition will be deleted.
