ChildReach is a free, mobile developmental education and information program serving families with children age birth to six years, with emphasis on children birth to thirty-six months of age. ChildReach supports parents/guardians in their roles of educating, nurturing and promoting their children's development through enhanced parenting skills and knowledge
ChildReach serves families living within Pierce County. Developmental screenings are held at various community locations including community centers, libraries and family support centers,.
Children receive screening in language, motor, learning, growth and personal-social skills.
Families receive education and information on developmental stages, developmental activities, early learning, early literacy, basic needs and more.
Referrals for any developmental concerns identified during screening are provided as needed.
