The primary objective of the Construction Division of Facilities Management is to manage and administer the construction of new facilities, update and remodel existing facilities, and oversee major building and systems upgrades in Pierce County facilities. All aspects of project and construction management are handled by division staff from initial project needs assessments, design consultant selection and contracting, bidding and negotiations, construction project management through completion and warranty issue resolution.
