I am a contractor who needs access to a secure County site. How long does it take to get an ID badge? Contractors, vendors and non-employees who work on-site in secure areas must submit a background check form. The Pierce County Sheriff's Department usually takes two weeks to perform necessary checks and clearances.
Can I fax or e-mail the completed background check form? No. Forms must submitted in person or through the U.S. mail.
I lost my badge. How can I get a new one? Report a lost or stolen badge immediately by calling (253) 798-7223.
