The County-City Building Phase 3 (CCB 3) Renovation includes remodeling a portion of the fifth floor Central Wing. The renovation is being done in two stages, demolition and construction. We are currently in the Demolition Stage. The Demolition Stage includes removal of existing walls and infrastructure in the B-Tower (highrise) 5th Floor area previously occupied by the Superior Court. The Construction Stage will include building three District Court courtrooms along with associated office spaces. Phase 3 is part of a four phase overall renovation of the County-City Building. The four phases will be the largest remodel of the County-City Building in a decade and involves nearly 60,000 square feet on five floors. The County-City Building is home to multiple Pierce County and City of Tacoma departments including Superior, District and Municipal Courts.
