Groups provide support, insight, encouragement and answers to the challenges of being a caregiver.

Puyallup - Good Samaritan's Caregiver Support Group (for the ''generic'' caregiver). Meets the second Monday of each month, 1:30 - 3:00p.m. in Room C-113 at the Good Samaritan Community Services Building, 325 E. Pioneer in Puyallup. Contact Kathie McCormack at (253) 697-8400.

Tacoma - For caregivers and family members of Adult Day Health participants. Meets 4th Wednesday of each month at 10 a.m. Held at Associated Adult Day Health Center, 6442 S. Yakima. Call (253) 552-1188.

Tacoma - For any family caregiver. Hourly respite care is available by calling in advance of the meeting. Meets the 1st Tuesday of each month at 1 p.m. at the South Tacoma Library, 3411 S. 56th. Contact Kathleen Moisio at (253) 403-1188.

Alzheimer's Support Groups

Groups that focus specifically on caregiving for a loved one with dementia or Alzheimer's Disease.
