Consumer Responsibilities

When you hire an individual as a caregiver, you are responsible for all facets of the hiring and employment process from interviewing to hiring to supervision to payroll taxes. Employment agencies may relieve the caregiver of certain responsibilities. Agencies may also charge a 'finders fee' for their services. Consider all your options, which responsibilities you wish to accept and which you cannot perform.
