Retirement Communities are designed for seniors who are physically and socially independent, choose to live in a senior community and eat at least one meal a day in a group setting. Some facilities provide housekeeping, linen service, organized social and recreational programs, transportation, access to shopping facilities and/or on site nurses. A few provide assisted living (See related information on 'Assisted Living') at an additional cost. Rental costs vary widely.
