Mission

The mission of the Pierce County Information Technology Department is to guide and facilitate optimal information technology solutions for county departments in support of superior service delivery to Pierce County residents. The Pierce County IT Department supports a wide range of technology services for Pierce County employees, departments and Pierce County citizens, including phone systems, computers, networks, mobile devices, geographic information systems, security infrastructure, technology training and more. Pierce County IT also occasionally offers expertise and resources to affiliated governments and agencies within Pierce County to better coordinate government cooperation, security measures and disaster prevention.
