Pierce County Parks and Recreation Services provides public parks and recreation services to the residents of unincorporated Pierce County.
The Parks Department manages 50 park facilities totaling over 4,200 acres including: two recreation centers, athletic complexes, skateboard park, three boat launch sites, three golf courses, trails, a rock climbing facility, an equestrian area, and natural/undeveloped areas.
Pierce County Parks also manages the location for the Pierce County Fair, a salt water fishing pier, two disc golf courses, and a bicycle/motorcross facility. Additionally, a large number of passive open space sites are managed through our Pierce County's Conservation Futures system.
