Frontier Park is situated in one of the fastest growing areas of Pierce County, on Meridian between Puyallup and Graham. Frontier Park is home to many uses including the Pierce County Fair, Highland Games, equestrian shows, scouting events, car shows, quarter midget track racing competitions, and casual recreation.

This majestic complex is 60 acres filled with large wooded and turf areas. A $1.3 million renovation project has transformed the former home economics building at Frontier Park into a rustic lodge and provided a link to local history. More than twice as large as the original building, Frontier Lodge was dedicated during a ribbon cutting ceremony on July 12, 2007.

Frontier Park Playground Closed
A recent playground assessment was conducted at Frontier Park by a Certified Playground Safety Inspector. The equipment was found to be out of compliance with national standards. As a result, Pierce County Parks and Recreation Services has taken immediate action to secure the playground area and exclude the use of the equipment by all children and adults.
The area around the playground equipment will be temporarily fenced and posted with 'Keep Out' signs. Equipment removal will be scheduled to take place within the next two weeks.
