Pierce County provides an Employee Assistance Program through First Choice EAP. EAP services are provided without cost, allowing employees and family members to prevent or resolve problems before productivity and effectiveness decrease at work, at home, at school, in rest or at play. Here are some examples of concerns addressed by the EAP.

Employees: How to Contact the EAP
Employees may call the EAP at 1-800-777-4114, TDD 1-800-777-4969, or use the EAP website to arrange an appointment. Another option is for the employee to ask their supervisor to schedule an appointment for them. In either case, employee privacy is maintained and an employee's interactions and all records with the EAP are strictly confidential. EAP Newsletter

The Employee Assistance Program (EAP) publishes a quarterly newsletter that features articles of interest to employees and includes many tips for managing issues they face in their every day lives.
