July 3, 2011

This was the first annual Wings & Wheels event which proved to be a crowd pleaser, with thousands of attendees. Attractions included a jet engine car, airplane flyby's, live music, static aviation displays, a car & motorcycle show and much more.

Tacoma Narrows Half-Marathon
August 7, 2010

The race began at the airport at 7:30 a.m. and went from the airport, across the Narrows Bridge, and past Cheney Stadium to downtown Tacoma.

Wings of Freedom Tour
June 21-23, 2010

The Collings Foundation brought their vintage WW-II aircraft to Tacoma Narrows Airport, including the North American P-51 Mustang, a Boeing B-17 Flying Fortress and a Consolidated B-24 Liberator.
