Open 24 hours per day, 365 days per year (weather permitting). Runway is lighted from DUSK to DAWN.

FAA-operated tower is open from 8:00 a.m. - 8:00 p.m.

The Tacoma Narrows Airport (TIW) is a 644-acre general aviation airport purchased in 2008 by Pierce County. TIW is a public airport located four miles west of Tacoma, serving Pierce County, Washington, USA.

TIW sits just off the Tacoma Narrows Bridge. There are approximately 156 aircraft based at the airport, and approximately 89,000 operations (take-offs and landings) each year.
