What is Happening

We're widening Military Road East from 133rd Street Court East to 350' north of Reservoir Road East (CRP 5514). Improvements, designed to improve traffic flow, include:

Widening Military Road East to include one lane in each direction with a two-way left-turn lane.
Adding a traffic signal at Military Road East/Reservoir Road East intersection.
Adding left-turn lanes on Military Road East and an eastbound right-turn lane on Reservoir Road East to Military Road East.
Adding an enclosed storm drain system to connect to the new stormwater treatment facility at Military Road East/136th Street East.
Adding concrete curbs, gutters, sidewalks, and guardrail at select locations.

This project connects to another project (recently completed) that widened and realigned Military Road East in the vicinity of 136th Street East.

The Latest

The Traffic Signal System is completed and functioning by December 3, 2009
