Word on the Street: Improvements to 111th Avenue East / 122nd Street East Intersection
What's Happening
We're improving the intersection of 111th Avenue East / 122nd Street East (CRP 5744). Improvements, designed to relieve traffic congestion, include:
- Reconstructing and re-aligning the 111th Avenue East and 122nd Street East legs for two lanes plus turn lanes.
- Installing a traffic signal at the intersection.
- Improving intersection street lighting.
- Building concrete curbs, gutters, and sidewalks.
- Building an enclosed storm drain system, stormwater treatment facilities, and storage facilities.
- We are also improving the intersection of 111th Avenue East/128th Street East (CRP 5685).
