What's Happening
We're designing improvements to several County roads by providing overlays on the existing asphalt concrete surfaces. The 2012 Asphalt Overlay Program may include:

• Group 1: Canyon Road East (99th Street Court East to 72nd Street East)
  
  
• Group 2: Canyon Road East (103rd Street East to 99th Street Court East)
  
  
• Group 3: 224th Street East (900' West of 78th Ave East to West of Tacoma Rail R/R Crossing)
  
  
• Group 4: 224th Street East (East of Tacoma Rail R/R Crossing to 1300' West of SR-161)
  
  
• Group 5: Wollochet Drive NW (Fillmore Drive NW to Hunt Street NW)

Subject to available budget.

November 2011

• Engineering: We are in the early stages of project development, which includes identifying the project groups and notifying interested parties.
• Survey: Our survey group is identifying existing roadway features and measuring for design.

• October 2011 to January 2012: Complete engineering, plans, specifications, and estimate.
• Summer 2012: Construction.
