Pierce County's Sewer Billing Department is staffed from 7:30am - 4:30pm, Monday through Friday to answer all your questions and information needs. Our knowledgeable staff is available to answer questions by phone at, (253) 798-4020 by fax at, (253) 798-4695, or at the service desk here at the Environmental Services Building.

Pierce County Public Works & Utilities has sewer service available in areas served by many different water companies. Customers should contact our office as well as their local water district office to establish service, discontinue service, make changes that may affect the billing of sewer charges, and to verify connection and service to the Pierce County Sewer System

When selling your home or business, a written estimated sewer payoff request must be submitted to Sewer Billing Division of Pierce County Public Works and Utilities. You, your agent or escrow or title company can fax this request to our offices to the attention of Sewer Billing. If you prefer to mail the request please refer to the Contact Us Page for the appropriate mailing address.

You may use the Letter of Authorization Form below to have your sewer bill sent to a tenant or property management company. Please note the property owner is ultimately responsible for payment of all charges including late charges and foreclosure costs on an account should the tenant or property owner fail to pay the sewer bill.
