Sewer Utility Capital Improvement Program (CIP)

The Capital Improvement Program (CIP) includes projects for sewer system maintenance, operation, improvement, preservation, and administration. Some projects address capacity issues while others focus on non-capacity needs.

New construction and expansion at the Chambers Creek Regional Wastewater Treatment Plant is part of the CIP program, as are the upgrades, maintenance, and operations improvements constructed throughout the sewer service area.

Engineering staff are responsible for:

• design of capital improvement projects
• consultant management
• development engineering review
• construction and inspection
• development of design standards and specifications
• sewer system modeling
