Disposal of Solids

The nutrient-rich solids, known as biosolids, are refined into a dry pelletized fertilizer. The fertilizer is commercially sold as SoundGRO for residential or commercial applications anywhere chemical-based fertilizers are used. SoundGRO meets Environmental Protection Agency standards for their 'Exceptional Quality' Class A biosolids product. Some solids, including grease, are disposed of at a sanitary landfill.
