Pierce County Museums

Noteworthy are the African American Museum, Chihuly at Union Station, Museum of Glass: International Center for Contemporary Art, Children's Museum of Tacoma, Gig Harbor Peninsula Historical Society and Museum, Tacoma Art Museum and Washington State History Museum. The LeMay Museum: America's Car Museum is planned for a site near the Tacoma Dome and will feature a world-class collection of automobiles.
