Pierce County Arts Commission

The Pierce County Arts Commission was formed in 1985 to serve as a volunteer advisory group to Pierce County government. The Commission is comprised of up to thirteen members appointed for their interest, experience, and support of the arts.

Commissioners are appointed by the Executive and confirmed by the County Council for three-year terms. Each council district is represented by one commissioner and six commissioners serve at-large.

Meetings of the Arts Commission are held quarterly at the Sound View building at 3602 Pacific Avenue, Suite 200 in Tacoma and will begin at 4:30 p.m.
