We Need Your Help.

The Livable Communities Fair welcomes individuals, businesses, non-profit groups, civic and service organizations willing to donate their time. The types of volunteer services needed are listed below.

Before the Fair

  • Assist our Volunteer Coordinator
  • Contact Sponsors
  • Contact Donors
  • Contact Participants
  • Find partners to help promote the fair
  • Poster/Flyer Distribution
  • Program Manager Assistant
  • Provide mailing labels to mail flyers
  • Fair Programs
  • Nametags
  • Send volunteer letters and job assignments
  • Make signs
  • Fundraising
  • Sell LCF Bears
  • Fair promotion (newsletters, newspapers, mailer, etc.)
  • When speaking to community groups, mention the upcoming fair
  • Printing
  • Help Set-Up Friday - May 16, 2008 (10:00a.m. - 6:00p.m.)

Day of the Fair - May 17, 2008

  • Distributor (distribute fair programs and other promotional items)
  • Inside Greeters; Welcome all attendees
  • Hospitality Attendant
  • Information Booth Attendant
  • Outside Greeters; Welcome all attendees
  • Locators (assist attendees with locating an exhibitor or vendor)
  • Parking Attendant
  • Runner
  • Hourly Drawing
  • Wheelchair/Stroller Check-out, Check-in
  • Sell LCF Bears
  • Set-Up Helper (assist during set-up before the start of fair)
  • Tear Down & Clean Up Helper
  • Trout Pond Attendant (assist vendor with crowd control)
