The White River Basin Plan Characterization (Phase 1) covers the existing physical features, problems, and regulatory conditions in the watershed as it relates to stormwater management.
A summary of regulations and responsibilities is included.
Current conditions information includes existing and future land use, impervious surfaces, rainfall, soils, topography, water quality assessment, hazards, habitat, floodplain, stream characteristics, and unusual aspects of the basin.
Phase 2 of the Basin plan has begun, and will include solutions to problems identified in the Characterization, and recommendations for program elements to protect water quality, floodplains, and habitat. Phased implementation of the completed plan will occur following completion of Phase 2.
