BRESEMANN FOREST - Military Rd & Bresemann Blvd, Parkland
This naturally wooded site is approximately 70 acres with a system of pedestrian nature trails. The beautiful and secluded walking trail may have users thinking they are miles from the city as they stroll along Morey Creek. Enter the Forest through a wrought iron gate on the west side of the Sprinker Recreation Center parking lot near SPIRE Rock.

- How to Get There: From I-5, take exit 127 following the Mt. Rainier/Puyallup signs to Highway 512 going east. On Hiway 512 take the second exit (Parkland/Spanaway-Pacific Ave) and at the stop light turn right onto Pacific Avenue (SR 7). Head south for 2.7 miles then turn right on Military Road (152nd St). Sprinker Center is 1 1/2 blocks down on the right. Go to the west side of the parking lot to enter the Forest.

CHAMBERS CREEK CANYON PARK - 7100 Block of Chambers Creek Rd W, University Place Naturally wooded with Chambers Creek flowing westward into Puget Sound. Approximately 195 acres will remain in its natural state with limited improvements in the future for public parking, restrooms, and a system of pedestrian nature trails. CRESCENT LAKE PARK - 14404 Talmo Dr. NW, Gig Harbor - Undeveloped 2 acre waterfront site.
CUSHMAN POWERLINE TRAIL - Reed Rd & 28th St, Gig Harbor The Cushman Powerline Trail is approximately 2 ½ miles of non-motorized public trail from 14th Ave NW to the Kimball Drive Park and Ride Lot in Gig Harbor. The trail occupies the land adjacent to or under the Cushman Power line which is generally used by Tacoma Public Utilities (TPU) maintenance vehicles. The Trail is a 16 foot wide paved asphalt pedestrian route. A trailhead with parking for 12 cars is located at 14th Ave NW.
The Gig Harbor Rotary Club assisted Pierce County and the City of Gig Harbor in providing trail improvements such as bike racks, benches and picnic tables.

DAWSON PLAYFIELD 1605 - 90th St. East, Tacoma (East 90th and Portland Avenue)
One softball field (nonregulation lighted), tennis courts, one basketball outdoor court, one covered picnic shelter without cooking facilities, uncovered picnic tables, restrooms, walking track, and new playground equipment.

HALES PASS COMMUNITY CENTER in Arletta - 3507 Ray Nash Dr. NW, Gig Harbor Looking for an 'out of the way', 'something different' place for your next gathering? Hales Pass Community Center in Gig Harbor could be that place. Offering a unique setting for meetings, classes and social gatherings with its rustic building constructed in 1938, Hales Pass has a small kitchen and a room that holds about 50 people with hardwood floors and rustic wood paneling. It could be the getaway you are looking for. Outside you will find a large covered area, 1 small ball diamond, 2 outdoor tennis courts and an open field to accommodate group games and activities, and meeting rooms. | Local health department has closed beach for swimming. This beach is closed due to recently identified pollution sources southwest of the beach. Neither water quality or shoreline survey information meet Washington state standards for recreational shellfish harvesting. |

RIVERSIDE PARK - Riverside Rd. & 78th St. Ct., Sumner Undeveloped 50 acre scenic waterfront site along the Puyallup River with 4 disc golf courses. Seasonal bicycle motocross concession and home of the River Valley BMX.
- How to get there: Exit on Valley Ave. from Hwy 410 (Orting turnoff), 1st left on Riverside Dr., 1.5 miles to park entrance on right, look for sign for River Valley BMX.

Track Location:
- From the North or Renton area, go South on State Hwy 167 to Sumner.
- From South on I-5 exit onto State Hwy 512, travel to Puyallup and then Sumner.
- From Tacoma, exit 1-5 at the Tacoma Dome onto River Road for Puyallup and then to Sumner Hwy 410.
- From State Hwy 410, exit toward Orting, take the first left onto Riverside Drive east.
- Follow Riverside Drive East one mile to Riverside Park entrance on your right.
