WINTER/SPRING Sessions
YOUTH HOCKEY 101- Beginners to Intermediate (ISI Hockey Levels 1-6)
This 8 week program will focus on the skating skills used for hockey. Skaters will learn a variety of skills ranging from forward skating to backward skating on one and two feet, stick handling, and game instruction.
- For: Ages 4-16

Levels 1-3: $72.00 -Current ISI Member / $90.00 -New ISI Member
Levels 4-6: $120.00 -Current ISI Member / $138.00 -New ISI Member
- ISI Membership is required. Youth (ages 17 and under) $18.00 additional if you are not a current ISI member. Memberships are good from Sept. 1, 2011 - Aug. 31, 2012 and are only effective for Hockey or LTS classes.

- Rental Gear: Gear packages are available for new students only and may be rented for one session. ALL GEAR MUST BE RETURNED ON THE LAST DAY OF CLASS. If a player chooses to utilize our rental equipment the cost for the entire package is $50.00 per session and a $50.00 refundable deposit if all the equipment is returned in good condition. This includes the cost of cleaning. Gear quantities are limited and therefore will be distributed on a first come first served basis. Package includes all gear with the exception of: Supporter with cup/or pelvic protector, Internal mouth guard, full coverage throat protector/neck guard, hockey skates & hockey stick.
Rental skates are available at no extra charge for levels 1 & 2

WINTER/SPRING Adult Hockey Learn to Play Class
Interested in playing hockey? Never skated before or it's been long enough for a refresher? Old enough to vote? Then this is the class for you. Our class will work on your skating skills, teach you stick handling, develop your game knowledge and fundamentals and prepare you to play in a league.
- For: Ages 18 & up

This class is designed to address skating skills and power and guided by a members of SRC Coaching Staff. Each session is limited to 20 persons on the ice. No sticks unless requested by instructor day of class.

OPEN HOCKEY STICK & PUCK PRACTICE (All Ages - ALL Levels)
Each session is limited to 30 persons on the ice. No scrimmaging - this is a practice session for stick handling and skating skills.
*FULL GEAR required - Under 18 must have full face helmets, Adults must have (minimum) half shield face helmets.

The game of Broom Hockey is very similar to regular hockey; however, players hit a rubber ball with short-handled, stiff-whiskered brooms instead of hitting puck with a stick. They also wear tennis shoes instead of skates. Broom hockey has become very popular in recent years, especially for groups such as social and civic clubs and organizations or churches looking for anew and intriguing activities.
- Fridays, 10:00-11:00pm
- Saturdays, 10:30-11:30pm
- Fee: $315.00 - includes 1 hour of ice time, 30 brooms, 30 helmets, and 1 broomball.
