Pierce County Required Training


Pierce County requires the following training for employees. Check the training schedule for details, dates, and registration  information.


Regular Hire Employees 
Attend Each of These Courses Once 


  • It's Up to You: Stopping Sexual Harassment
  • Beyond Sexual Harassment
  • Attitudes Toward Differences (prerequisite for required diversity training)
  • Diversity refresher every two years*

Supervisors, Managers and Directors 
Attend Each of These Courses Once 

  • Beyond Sexual Harassment
  • Attitudes Toward Differences (prerequisite for required diversity training)
  • Domestic Violence Policy Overview for Supervisors
  • Sexual Harassment Awareness and Prevention for Management. All Directors, Managers, Supervisors and Elected/Appointed Officials with direct reports are required to attend.
  • Diversity refresher every two years*

*Upon completion of all diversity offerings, employees who have attended them have met the required "every two years" diversity refresher requirement. Employees may verify attendance through their Workday training transcript or by contacting PCHRTRAINING@piercecountywa.gov
