SPRINKER RECREATION CENTER CLOSED MARCH 25-APRIL 8
March 24, 2020 – Update
As a result of the Governor’s directive for all members of our community to Stay Home-Stay Healthy last evening, we will be closing public recreational facilities, parks, golf courses, park restrooms, sport fields/courts, parking lots, playgrounds and picnic shelters beginning tomorrow, March 25th through April 8th to help prevent social gatherings and the spread of COVID-19. It is essential, from the Governor and health officials, for people to get outside, exercise and recreate, but that is intended to be in individual family units near or in one’s home. Social distancing must be practiced. Our parks will receive a basic level of oversight and maintenance during this time to ensure public assets are secure and we are ready to serve you when gathering in public spaces is approved by health officials.
