Economic relief for Pierce County sewer customers is now available
County Council passes Emergency Ordinance No. 2020-44 to suspend late fees and/or interest and charging commercial customers based on actual, not estimated, water use for 90 days following the March 6, 2020 emergency declaration. An additional 90-day extension was granted as of June 4, 2020. Please contact Customer Billing Services with questions at (253) 798-4020.
Starting in July, the Sewer Division will kick-off a major update to the Unified Sewer Plan, or USP for short. The USP is the Sewer Division’s comprehensive plan which guides project and program development over the next twenty years. Stay tuned for more details.
New Sewer Programs
New programs are now available to reduce upfront connection fees for new businesses and loan program options for commercial and residential customers connection to dry sewer lines. Learn more here
The Sewer Division provides wastewater management, collection, and treatment services to large urban areas of Pierce County via a network of underground pipes, pump stations, manholes and the Chambers Creek Regional Wastewater Treatment Plant. Learn more about the division
