Letter of Authorization
In the event that the applicant is not the landowner, a letter authorizing the applicant to make an application, signed by the landowner, is required before the applicant can be accepted. When the trees are in a Tract owned by a Homeowner's Association (HOA), the letter of authorization must be signed by the president of the HOA or a legal representative.
A signed and notarized Right of Entry Agreement to allow access on the property by County staff must be submitted with your application. If the trees to be removed are in a Tract owned by a Homeowner's Association (HOA), the Right of Entry Agreement must be signed by the president of the HOA or a legal representative.
The purpose of this report is to adequately document the rational supporting the need to abate or remove a tree. The report must be prepared by a certified arborist, licensed landscape architect or professional forester, or other expert approved by the County.
