The Conservation Futures and Open Space Citizens' Advisory Board (CAB) is comprised of seventeen individuals who represent a broad based interest in Pierce County. The CAB evaluate property presentations that may be eligible for acquisitions through the Conservation Futures funds. Presentations are made in an open public meeting forum.

The Conservation Futures Citizens' Advisory Board meets quarterly when not reviewing presentations for Conservation Futures funding. Meetings are held at the Lakewood Community Center in Lakewood.  Any changes to the schedule or meeting place, including cancellations will be posted on this page.

Representatives are currently needed for Council Districts 2, 4, and 5, plus one At Large member. Submit an application online by September 1, 2020 for review for current vacancies.

Board members serve four-year terms and represent each of the council districts, at-large positions, small cities and towns; as well as cities with populations greater than 15,000.
