Chambers Creek Regional Park - Central Meadow Infrastructure Study

Project Update

Central Meadow Infrastructure Study:

Following three open houses, Pierce County Parks has completed the final report on the Central Meadow Infrastructure Study at Chambers Creek Regional Park. Constructing a stage in the Central Meadow is a potential project that may be considered in the future. In the meantime, this report includes designs for the location of a future stage and picnic shelters which informed Parks as to where to place electrical service to support community events. Electrical service will be installed in early 2020.

About the Project

The Chambers Creek Regional Park Central Meadow Stage Study was initiated in March 2019 by Pierce County Parks with a grant from the Pierce County Lodging Tax Program (LTAC). The study assessed the feasibility, benefits, and challenges of integrating an events stage within the Central Meadow and identified the best locations for other public amenities to include picnic shelters and electrical service.
