Coming soon: More outdoor adventures in your neighborhood! Check out our Projects and Plans website to learn about the latest news for two exciting projects: Parkland Community Trail and Sprinker Recreation Center Outdoor Improvements.

The Parkland Community Trail will be a bike and pedestrian pathway that connects Parkland families to schools and parks! The trail will provide a safe route for people of all ages to bike, stroll or roll from Sprinker Recreation Center to Pacific Lutheran University.

For Kids: We have trail-themed coloring pages on our website!  Share your color creations on social media with us by using #PierceCoCreates!

For Parents: Check out the concept design for the trail, watch our virtual presentation and sign up to stay in the loop. Share your thoughts or questions with our Trails Coordinator, Brianne Blackburn.

Did you know that we’re working to #SpruceUpSprinker? We’re planning exciting new features, including a splash park, bigger playground, picnic areas and synthetic turf fields for year-round play. Visit the project website to watch our project update video! You can also sign up for email updates for your next chance to weigh in as we refine the design. Have questions? Share your thoughts with the Project Manager, Benjamin Barrett.

Thank you for following along with us! We hope your family is staying healthy
and happy.

Sincerely,
Pierce County Parks
